Travels

In my thoughts I travel
with you, and I share.
I give — and linger,
imagining

spontaneous adventures
born of empty moments
that are filled
with unknown ideas

peeking from behind the door,
overwhelming me
with intensity.

I am tempted,
carried as well
by you,

while you wander
around me —
faithful,
as I once
promised you
I would be.

In Travels, the journey happens in the mind, in invisible spaces where thoughts move freely and presence is felt without being seen. The poem speaks of ideas that peek from behind a door, of intensity, of a wandering presence that surrounds and carries.

In my paintings, transparency becomes the visual equivalent of that inner travel. Layers overlap without fully hiding one another. Forms appear, dissolve, and re-emerge. What is visible is only part of what exists.

Transparence is not only about light or material; it is about allowing what is beneath to remain perceptible. It is the space between concealment and revelation, where emotion, memory, and imagination circulate freely.

Like the poem, the paintings suggest that nothing is entirely solid or fixed. Everything moves through everything else. What we see is only one layer of a deeper presence.
